As an Ayurveda practitioner one has the option of working in one’s own clinic. Therefore, the proper management of a clinic is essential. This module provides an introduction and essential insights about the principles of leading and managing a business in the legal framework of the profession. It introduces health legislation, patient law, insurance, financial reporting, business economics, legal order and contracts. It includes a practical work in the form of a mini-business plan.
MV5 is a prerequisite for the MEDVAIDYA diploma in ayurvedic medicine. It fulfils the requirements of the M5 module of OdA AM, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the Swiss federal diploma of practitioner in ayurvedic medicine.
Prior learning can be recognized by the school based on an evaluation of the candidate’s file as per OdA AM criteria.
The naturopath with a federal diploma runs his/her practice according to entrepreneurial principles, is responsible for the operation and administration of the practice, documents his/her therapeutic activity, arranges his/her practice and maintains the infrastructure, respects the legal framework of his/her professional activity.
