MedVaidya is the fruit of shared visions and untiring work of an international team, of a two-decade long journey in academics and professional politics, passing through a pilot phase, before attaining its mature form. It has evolved from simple to advanced teaching methodologies and didactic concepts, from basic to evolved technological tools, but one thing has never changed: the will to provide authentic knowledge.
MedVaidya is a one-of-a-kind internationally leading training program in Ayurveda medicine, that during its early years was harbored by the then leading Indian institution in the globalization process of Ayurveda, under the inspiring guidance of late Padmasri P. R. Krishnakumar Varier at AVP. It is destined to train an international elite of Ayurveda practitioners for the preservation of authentic knowledge as well as for the sustainable development and spread of the medical system and its practice.
