Module MV3 – Health and Ethics

Dedicated to Health & Ethics, this module prepares to manage particular challenges of the profession, to commit to public health, to respect limits of competences and promote a positive public image of the profession. Topics studied are health models, concepts of health promotion, mental hygiene, resource management, personal work-life balance, concepts of prevention in the field of health and principles of professional ethics. 

MV3 is a prerequisite for the MEDVAIDYA diploma in ayurvedic medicine. It fulfils the requirements of the M3 module of OdA AM , which is a prerequisite for obtaining the Swiss federal diploma of practitioner in ayurvedic medicine.

Prior learning can be recognized by the school based on an evaluation of the candidate’s file.

Description of the module

The naturopath with a federal diploma is aware of the particular challenges of his/her profession and knows how to manage them, recognizes the signs of physical and mental stress and acts accordingly, is committed to public health, respects the ethical principles of the profession in his/her activity, works competently and respects his/her professional and personal limits, contributes to a positive public image of the profession.
