Planning and timing

Place of the MVU 5 P/D module in MedVaidya

MVU 5 P/D is one of the four modules that are making up the COREMED-M diploma course in fundamentals of modern medicine and of the profession. The other modules are MVU 1 P/D, MVU 3 P/D, MVU 4 P/D.

MVU 5 P/D is a prerequisite for the COREMED-M Diploma in basic medicine and the MEDVAIDYA Diploma in Ayurveda medicine for practitioners.

Place of the MVU 5 P module in the OrTra MA system

The MVU 5 P module matches the OrTra MA’s M5 module.

M5 is a prerequisite for the Swiss Federal diploma of naturopath in Ayurveda medicine.

The holder of the Swiss Federal Diploma of naturopath in Ayurveda medicine:

  • runs his practice according to entrepreneurial principles. He/she is responsible for its operation and administration. He/she documents his/her therapeutic activity. He/she sets up his/her practice and maintains the infrastructure.

  • respects the legal framework of his/her professional activity.

  • is bound to respect the ethical principles of the profession in his/her activity. He/she works competently and respects his/her professional and personal limits. He/she contributes to a positive public image of the profession.
