Start of the MVU 4: every year in late August for 6 months

Place of the MVU 4 P/D module in MedVaidya

MVU 4 P/D is one of the four modules that are making up the COREMED-M diploma course in fundamentals of modern medicine and of the profession. The other modules are MVU 1 P/D, MVU 3 P/D, MVU 5 P/D.

MVU 4 P/D is a prerequisite for the COREMED-M Diploma in Basic Medicine and the MEDVAIDYA Diploma in Ayurveda medicine for practitioners.

Knowledge

The holder of the Swiss Federal Diploma of naturopath in Ayurveda medicine:

  • promotes and supports therapeutic work and patient follow-up through adequate communication and relationship.

  • works effectively with physicians, colleagues, health specialists and other professional groups for optimal follow-up, advice and care. He/she coordinates and implements, according to the agreement with the patients, external measures and accompanies them appropriately. He/she supports them and defends their interests in an appropriate manner.

The holder of the Swiss Federal Diploma of naturopath in Ayurveda medicine:

  • works according to the current state of knowledge of the profession. He/she reflects on his/her professional activity, continuously expands his/her knowledge, refines his/her dexterity and adjusts his/her behaviour.

  • reflects on the state of his/her personal development. He/she structures it continuously in accordance with his/her professional activity.

  • obtains useful information relevant to his/her work independently and in a targeted manner. He/she evaluates and uses it for his/her work. He/she passes on his/her professional knowledge and experience to patients and the public in an appropriate manner.

The holder of the Swiss Federal Diploma of naturopath in Ayurveda medicine:

  • can work in group practices, interdisciplinary teams, projects and networks in the health, education and social systems.

  • builds up a professional network. He/she cooperates with other specialists and organisations in the profession or other professional groups and maintains professional contacts.

B2 Builds relationships with specialists to ensure that patients are managed according to the principles of alternative medicine

  • The holder of the Swiss Federal Diploma of naturopath in Ayurveda medicine works effectively with physicians, colleagues, health specialists and other professional groups for optimal follow-up, advice and care.
