Planning and timing

Start of the MVP 2BT module: every year in September for 12 months

ONE CLASSROOM PERIOD = 50 MINUTES

248 classroom periods

Face to face attendance mode

8 weekends = 128 periods in 16 days  
1 mini block course = 20 periods over 3 days
1 block course of 100 periods in 12 days in India


Virtual attendance mode

6 weekends = 92 periods in 11.5 days  
1 mini block course = 20 periods over 3 days
1 block course of 136 periods in 16 days in India

Place of the MVP 2BT P/D module in MedVaidya

MVP 2BT P/D is one of the four modules that is making up the MEDVAIDYA traditional option training course.

It is a prerequisite for obtaining the MEDVAIDYA diploma for physicians, traditional option.

Module description

Physiopathology, diagnosis and study of pathologies in general medicine, ENT, gynaecology and paediatrics according to Ayurveda. Study of plants and medicinal formulations, introduction to metal-based preparations, Sanskrit, Yoga. Practical training of treatment techniques.

Ashtanga Yoga Fundamentals 2, Simple Postures.

  • Physiopathology: dosha-dushya vijnana, agni-koshta, ama, doshagati, rogamarga

  • Art of diagnosis in Ayurveda: the triple, eight and tenfold examination (trividha, ashtavidha and dashavidha pariksha), the five aspects of diagnosis (pancha nidana) - links with modern diagnostics

  • Prognosis in Ayurveda

  • Study of classical and modern pathologies in general medicine, ENT, gynaecology and paediatrics according to Ayurveda: etiology (hetu), pathogenesis (samprapti), prodromes (purva-rupa), symptoms (linga), complications
