Planning and timing

Start of the MVP 2AC module: every year in September for 16 months

ONE CLASSROOM PERIOD = 50 MINUTES

214 classroom periods

7 weekends (Friday and Saturday) = 112 periods in 14 days
in face-to-face classes in Switzerland (P) / in virtual class by video conference (D)

1 annual mini block course in August = 20 periods over 3 days
face-to-face in Switzerland (P) / in virtual class by video conference (D)

1 annual 2-week block course in India
82 periods in 10 days (P/D)
(start on Monday the 1st week, end on Thursday the 2nd week)

Module description

History of Ayurveda, philosophical foundations, foundations of Ayurveda (anatomy and physiology) preventive medicine, introduction to the reading of classical texts, Sanskrit, Yoga, indications of manual treatment techniques. Sequence and indications of manual treatment techniques without practical training of the treatment techniques.

  • Indications, precautions, standard operating procedures and demos by e-teaching (no practical teaching of current techniques in the classroom)
